Hebbinus is an uneventful, backwater system. There are two extensive planetoid belts here. In this case, however, “extensive” means there are few sizeable planetoids, and these rocks are scattered haphazardly. No significant deposits have ever been located, but that doesn’t keep belters from looking. Several small communities have been established to support these miners. These places have “laws”, but they are randomly, if ever, enforced, and are mainly in place to protect the locals. Visitors are advised to remain cautious.
It had been rumored for “quite some time” that the system either harbors or supports pirates in some form. Whether this is true or not has never been accurately determined. What is certain is if pirates are in the system, the local government is powerless to stop them.
