Gadade is a very resource poor system with few planetary bodies. Of the three worlds in the system, Gadade is the only one which is remotely habitable. The only other bodies in the system are a gas giant, a very poor planetoid belt (composed almost exclusively of ice asteroids and rubble), and a few worthless satellites.
The reasons Gadade was settled have been lost to history, along with most of its historical record. What is known is what remains of the society struggles to survive. Reported at just over 500 people a century ago, the current population is believed to be less than 100 individuals, who live a nomadic existence following herds of local (and very, very dangerous) animals. It is believed the combination of dangerous wildlife, cold climate, and lack of resources has combined to devastate the population.
Locating these small groups of survivors can be an exercise in patience for any search parties or orbiting survey ships. In addition, they seem to be determined to remain “alone and independent”. The few who have managed to track them down have reported them as being “stubborn”.

This is my 84th hand-generated “System of the Day” entry, using the Traveller5 (T5) rules, from Far Future Enterprises. My goal is to publish 400 new, random systems in 2020.
This system was generated by hand, using a set of dice I have owned for over 30 years, and using the Traveller5 (T5) rules set. Feel free to use this system in your own campaigns. Permission is granted to publish these results, as long as the copyrights of Far Future Enterprises are not violated, and no money is charged for them.
As always, comments and input are appreciated.
KEEP ON TRAVELLING!
