Bazepra is a former colony, which won a civil war against its parent world [in the system’s habitable zone]. Officially, Bazepran history tells a tale of peaceful resistance to, “overt efforts to keep the people of Bazepra locked in chains”. The few survivors of the conflict, who were forced to relocate, tell a different tale, one of Bazepran aggression and hostility, fueled by outside forces.
Whatever the truth may be, there is a regional group of freedom fighters which seeks revenge on the Bazepran state and its supporters. This group is, of course, labeled as a terrorist organization on Bazepran, as well as on many nearby worlds, and with good reason: this organization has sanctioned attacks, especially bombings, in attempts to weaken the Bazepran government’s position.
Bazepra has recently recolonized the world, and has strict protocols in place to prevent such terrorist attacks from occuring. So far, these efforts have succeeded.
