Clovis is a fairly important world with a cold environment. Other than its rather intrusive laws and restrictions, there is little else to help the system stand out from other worlds in the region. Located far out from the primary, Clovis is in reality the only source of starship fuel within the system, as there is no gas giant, and the other worlds in the outer system are too distant.
Of the system’s two planetoid belts, the closer one is essentially useless; it has few resources, and the few it had were apparently mined out centuries ago. The more distant belt, far out in the system’s tenth orbit, shows more potential, and there are a number of small companies and belter groups attempting to survey the sparse planetoids. Distance is a factor, as there are typically millions of kilometers between each body in this system of rocks and ice balls. Any belters operating in this belt are truly on their own, and must be alert to danger.
