Tharulara is yet another minor agricultural world. The world boasts “perfect” conditions for humans and related lifeforms, and is an ideal world for settlement. However, several decades ago the thriving world was decimated by a plague. This plague originated from offworld. The source and infection vector were never determined, but it is not believed the plague was intentional, as the society had no enemies or rivals in the region at that time. In the last five years or so, the world has begun to reestablish its population base. Tharulara now has a young population, and visitors outside of the starport and main capital areas will notice an abundance of young children.

The remainder of the system has a number of other, independent settlements. While less populous and/or important than Tharulara, these worlds are in some sense more important, as they have higher technology. Indeed, over the system’s history, several of these smaller societies have been responsible for assisting the main world when significant problems have occurred, such as during the plague which decimated the world (as mentioned above).
