Logis is an unimportant, backwater world, located on a minor “shortcut” route between two minor trade routes. This brings some traffic and trade to the system. The system’s planetoid belt is reported to contain much of the mineral wealth of the system, and it is being slowly mined and exploited by several companies, which pay a small amount of taxes to the government of Logis.
Logis has used this small income to establish a colony on the hot, dry world closest to the primary star: Nova Logis. It has been an expensive endeavor, and required a fair amount of assistance from offworld companies, but the effort is paying off, and this colony is slowly reaching the point where it can be declared self sufficient.

This world’s name was taken from that great scifi book series, The Dumarest Saga, written by E.C. Tubb, and published from 1967 to 2008. I make no claim to this world name; I use it only as an homage to a series which heavily influenced me (and, according to legend, Traveller itself).
