Uinen (“wee-nehn”) is a fairly important world. Although the population is low, the local economy is robust enough to export a variety of products. Of course, being a vacuum world, most of Uinen’s exports are various minerals and ores.
In addition to its ore output, Uinen serves as a good refueling point for local traffic, though it does not lie at a critical junction on the local trade routes. As the world itself lies outside of the primary star’s jump limit, and the system’s lone gas giant lies inside it, most ships refuel at the local port, rather than increasing the length of their stay in the system.
In the past the system had some issues with pirate groups, setting up bases and hideouts in the outer system rings. A concerted effort removed this threat, though there are occasional rumors at least one pirate base or supply dump was overlooked.
NOTE: These systems, as generated, are generic. Referees will need to modify the system and descriptions to fit their campaign needs.
