Vatania is a somewhat important world. Rich in resources, the local industries (such as they are) provide a steady stream of processed ores for nearby worlds. This steady stream of income has allowed the world to import high technology mining systems, further increasing production and efficiency.
A small shipyard has been established recently, funded mainly by local mining concerns. Though this shipyard is capable of some starship construction, its main focus is on keeping the local mining and shipping vessels running, as well as maintenance and overhauls for the system’s frequent commercial traffic.
