Tiloo is a minor world, with a very human-friendly environment. Located off a minor trade route and possessing almost minimal starport facilities, the world nonetheless sees a decent amount of traffic, especially during the world’s major growing seasons. Its agricultural output is steadily increasing, and plans are being formulated to upgrade the world’s starport, as well as several spaceports across the globe.
Even though Tiloo does not have spacefaring technology, it does have two colonies in the system. The first is a large ocean world (orbit #7); several habitats have been established on several semi-permanent ice shelves (areas which haven’t melted in at least 1000 years). This colony is researching the world’s lifeforms, as well as investigating the potential for large scale ocean farming. And the system’s single planetoid belt is colonized and being mined. Most of the profits generated from here are used to maintain the habitats, and the imported higher technology needed to keep them functioning. Tiloo’s government and society established these colonies with future goals in mind.
