Han-Xiang-Zi is another unimportant, backwater world. Located in a system with meager mineral resources, there is yet some prospecting and mining activity being conducted by independent belt miners. There is minimal ship traffic (other than the belters, of course), with few ships willing to make the unrewarding trip here. There is a scheduled ship which visits Han-Xiang-Zi, a trader which stops here every two months or so (assuming it isn’t running late). This ship is usually more than sufficient to restock local supplies, and cart off what ores have been mined locally.
The government is essentially “there”; there is little interference in daily lives, and there are no real taxes. Those who live here look out for themselves and each other, a cultural remnant from when there was no government at all, and the occasional pirate or raider made its way into the system. Those days are long past; there is little here for them to steal (unprocessed ores are usually undesired by pirates), and the reaction of the locals to such attempts has deterred further such actions by them.
