Dilwica is a high population world with a nice environment, even if the atmosphere is a bit dense. In normal times the world attracts a number of tourists, who come to visit the world’s scenery. It has been a number of years since the tourist trade has boomed, however.
Dilwica’s three remaining governments have been busy absorbing their smaller neighbors over the last century, and not always peacefully. There are scars from a number of wars, which can still be seen if one knows where to look. During these ‘consolidation’ wars, tourism dropped off significantly, impacting the economies.
There have been no more wars in the past decade, with the last minor governments being absorbed by the “Big Three” within the last three years. To date there have been no actual conflicts between these three governments. Whether there will be one in the near future remains to be seen, though at present there are no significant signs of a major military buildup.
The citizens, who are sick of conflicts, remain hopeful.
