Well, I haven’t gotten any “system” posts done the last couple days. But I am nearing completion of the basement/gaming room rebuild. Finally! (The stairs don’t count; they’re a pain in the butt to install flooring on properly, and I lack the confidence/experience to do that bit just yet…)
Our bi-weekly Traveller session is tomorrow (Saturday), and I purchased and installed a new web cam ‘just for the occasion’. Ok, that’s a fib; it’s mainly for boardgaming, and we could have a player joining the group via webcam in a couple sessions. Here’s hoping.
Anyway, here’s a couple of camera shots to show the setup. I have two cameras now, with the newer one having MUCH better color and quality. Go figure, right? I have a number of options for where to place the cameras, though one must remain near the laptop due to cable limits.
And yes, that’s my ugly mug in the corner. Have a great day, everyone!
Looks great!
I’ve been slowly making part of my non-finished basement (i.e., it still looks like a basement) ready for gaming for quite some time. it will never look as nice as yours. Well done!

Thank you! I think this needs improvement, but I can see it up close, so… lol
Actually, I’m making another post about it in a couple minutes… 🙂

Wow, looking good! I am in the first stages of the basement game room myself. With a full art studio and miniature painting station in the next room.

Nice. As you probably can see, I have a bench in the corner for various projects. It’s a pair of base cabinets, with a countertop attached. It has a couple 1×4 boards on the back for strength. Not fancy by any means, but I’m not much of a crafter yet, either…
