Well, it’s been, frankly, a crappy few months, as my previous posts have reported. But I am happy to report that I am finally returning to something resembling a slightly normal state, as well as to these blogs – out of boredom and the need to keep myself busy, if for no other reason.
I have purchased a much newer tablet, as well as a keyboard to facilitate typing these blogs, so no more scrunched-face typing into a small smartphone screen. My eyes, and wrists, will thank me greatly, I am sure! And perhaps I will finally be able to commence work on some larger projects I’ve had in the back of my mind for some time now. Right now I am 12 days behind on my System of the Day posts. I plan to post an additional system every other day or so, and be mostly caught up within a couple of weeks. This all depends, of course, on how soon the creativity kicks back into gear…
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has extended condolences to me in this most difficult time. Your thoughts and kind comments are greatly appreciated, and have made this rather strenuous life transition slightly more bearable.
Ok, back to “work”…
Welcome back! Writing IS cathartic.

Things are getting a little better, slowly. I have good family support, both mine and my wife’s families are fantastic.
Right now, I need the distractions to avoid the ’empty nest syndrome’, lol. The return to creative interests is a welcome distraction.
Thanks again.
