O’Masi is a well-developed industrial world, which has been growing in importance in recent decades. The world is highly overpopulated, and is a major food importer. It’s industrial output could be better; the world’s economy isn’t known as being very efficient, but with well over 60 billion inhabitants, efficiency can be difficult to attain.
Surprisingly, O’Masi’s civil service-style government is one of the few points of efficiency in the society. Government is not intrusive in the every day lives of it citizens, and bureaucratic hurdles are not difficult to deal with. The world’s economy has been on the increase in recent years as a result. The well-educated labor force is also a large bonus, and these factors are attracting a number of offworld business. Even more surprising is the government has managed to keep the economy’s growth from becoming “too” explosive, keeping inflation to a minimum. There are economic observers who believe that the world’s economy can become THE powerhouse in the region, if local industries can improve their overall efficiency.
